YBBP系列隔爆型變頻調速三相異步電動機適用于煤礦井下（非采掘工作面）及工廠含有爆炸性氣體混合物的作業場所作電力拖動用，電動機與變頻裝置相配套，具有調速性能好、節能、溫升裕度大、壽命長、性能好、噪音低、隔爆結構先進、可靠性高、使用維護方便等優點，通過改變頻率而調速，電動機調速范圍廣，在開環U/f控制的條件下，3～50Hz恒轉矩調速，50～100Hz為恒功率調速，在矢量控制的條件下，調速范圍還可以擴大，過載能力強，能夠承受額定轉矩的160%過載，歷時1min。 YBBP 變頻調速三相異步電動機應用于輕工、紡織、化工、石油、冶金、機床、水泵等行業。YBBP系列電動機電氣性后部增加獨立冷動風機，YBBP系列隔爆型變頻調速三相異步電動機安裝尺寸與YB2系列電動機相同。 本系列電動機符合國家標準GB3836.1《爆炸性環境 第1部分：設備 通用要求》和GB3836.2《爆炸性環境 第2部分：由隔爆外殼“d”保護的設備 》的規定。電氣性能符合JB/T 11201.1-2011《隔爆型變頻調速三相異步電動機技術條件 第1部分：YBBP系列隔爆型變頻調速三相異步電動機（機座號80～355）》的規定。 本系列電動機功率等級和安裝尺寸符合國際電工委員會（IEC）標準。
